My dog is not perfect, comes from some of the worst examples of the breed I have ever seen, too heavy, aka hypertyped, “lazy”
“slow” “clumsy” whatever stereotype youd like to falsely apply to the entire breed, he comes straight from the worst of it.

There are SO MANY contributing factors. But like with any dog, all I had to do was put a little work in and have some consistency to get the results I wanted from him, I dont think the way you handle a dog can truly override instincts or genetics, but I do think that it still plays a very big role, and over my time of handling him and learning for myself, Ive found that anything I think he “cant do” he does with ease—sometimes 10x better than whatever I imagined, If I denied him to do these things, it doesnt mean he couldn’t, I simply just wouldnt know/think he could do them, are you guys catching what Im saying at all?

Anyways, all this to say that if this dog, who comes from not the best examples of the breed, can “work” I could only imagine what a wellbred dane, still perfectly suitable for the work their meant to do, is capable of…

Great things, thats for sure, yet all the of misinformation of the world has clouded peoples ability to see that, your opinions do not see truth, what you think does not make a whole breed, especially if you dont understand the breed and its history.

But hey thats just my 2 cents when it comes to this topic, nd what do I know, LOL, thanks for coming to my tedtalk
